Ioana Stoica
Policy Advocate
Ioana Stoica joined JOTF as a Public Policy Advocate in July 2022. A former high school mathematics teacher in DC Public Schools and community organizer, Ioana has been committed to expanding educational opportunities and social and economic justice for two decades. Ioana currently serves on the Board of Directors of Pro-Choice Maryland, as a Core Leader of Bend the Arc - Maryland, and as a District Captain for Jews United for Justice. Her prior legislative work includes advocating for Maryland paid family and medical leave, immigration justice, and criminal justice reform.
